On 16th Mar 2005,the first joint meeting for all Guangdong functional offices of the 2nd CSMEF was held in Guangzhou.
You Ningfeng,who is the vice director and executive director of the CSMEGF committee as well as vice governor of the Guangdong province, has been present at this meeting and given an important speech.
The meeting was hosted by Xu Shangwu, who is the vice director of the CSMEF committee and Vice Secretary-General of Gunagdong Province. At the meeting, the director of the CSMEF secretariat and director of Guangdong Economy and Trade Commission, Chen Bing introduced the previous preparation work of this fair. Liu Huanquan, the vice director of Guangdong Economy and Trade Commission and general director of Guangdong SME bureau, delivered a detail report about the future work plan. About 50 people from CSMEF functional offices attended this meeting and made a deep discussion about the future work plan.
It is reported that with the official reply on Jan 8th, 2005 by the State Council of P.R.C, China National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance of R.R.C, Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C, China State Administration for Industry and Commerce, People¡¯s Government of Guangdong Province and Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry of France will jointly sponsor the 2nd China Small and Medium Enterprises Fair and Sino-French Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (hereafter referred to as the 2nd CSMEF) from Sep 12th to Sep 15th, 2005 at the Pazhou International Exhibition Center, Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
In order to make good preparation for the 2nd CSMEF, Guangdong province made this joint-meeting system that contains ten functional offices formed by 18 departments.
Different from the 1st, the 2nd CSMEF is actually an exhibition of international standard. There will be 5000 Chinese and more than 300 French exhibitors on the fair.
During the fair, there will be some programs like Sino-French SME Summit and SME Financing Forum, etc.
