On June 5, 2008 accompanied by Commercial Officer of Consulate General of India in Guangzhou and the relevant responsible persons of Association of Promotion for Guangdong Economy and Investment (APGEI), Inspector Qi Zhenli had an interview with consul general Ban Haoran (班浩然) and discussed matters related to the organization of exhibition groups for the 5th CISMEF.

Inspector Qi Zhenli expressed the sincerest congratulation on the opening ceremony of Consulate of India in Guangzhou. Both sides sincerely exchanged ideas about the organization of the exhibition groups for the 5th CISMEF and also expressed appreciation and gratitude to Republic of India for their active participation and subscription for 25 exhibition booths. The CISMEF, remarked he, is bound to provide the excellent service and endless business opportunities to Indian enterprises.
Consul-general Ban Haoran pointed out, the CISMEF is a good platform for Indian enterprises to get access to the Chinese market and Indian government strongly supports Indian enterprises to attend the fair and put forward the proposal that India would be the future country of honor of the CISMEF.
Both sides expressed their hope to establish the long-term friendly partnership so as to make greater contributions to the economy and trade and SME cooperation between China and India.
