To all development and reform commissions, economic and trade commissions (economic commissions), small/medium-sized enterprise bureaus and local taxation bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities specifically designated in the state plan and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
The 5th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair & Sino-Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (hereinafter referred to as “the 5th CISMEF”) will be jointly sponsored by the State Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, China Banking Regulatory Commission, the relevant departments of People’s Government of Guangdong Province and the Korean Government and is scheduled to be officially held in Guangzhou International Conference And Exhibition Centre during the period from Sept 22 to 25, 2008. The relevant issues are hereby notified as follows on getting on with a better job in the effective promotion of the domestic exhibition promotion for the 5th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair:
I. There are totally 5000 international standard exhibition booths available for the 5th CISMEF, with 4000 booths for the domestic exhibitors and 1000 booths for the foreign exhibitors. Different exhibition areas are provided, such as, Korean Exhibition Area, ASEM SMES Cooperation & Exchange Exhibition Area, International & Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Exhibition Area, Banking Service and SMES Service Industry, large-scale chain-store enterprise exhibition area, SMES Service Exhibition Area, Home Electric Appliances and Furniture and Home Lighting, Ceramics and Building Material exhibition area (including environmental protection building material and modern furniture), machine equipment exhibition area, IT, toys and craftwork Exhibition area, textile and garment, shoes and Suitcases exhibition area, Foodstuff and Medicine Exhibition Area, etc.
II. The domestic exhibition promotion work for the 5th CISMEF will be mainly conducted by the competent departments of the government and supplemented by the intermediary service agencies. The exhibition promotion plan for different places is attached hereunder. The relevant departments at all places are kindly reminded to take their initiative to motivate the excellent enterprises to participate in the exhibition in combination with the local industrial features in accordance with the distribution of the exhibition areas.
III. Each exhibition booth of the 5th CISMEF（3×3m2）is charged 6800 RMB yuan and indoor free space is charged 700 RMB yuan for each square meter. The competent SMES Management departments from all places are kindly reminded to collect the exhibition fees from the local enterprise exhibitors and remit the amounts to Secretariat of the CISMEF Organizing Committee. IV. For the purpose of fully getting on well with the exhibition promotion and exhibition booth distribution and arrangement, the relevant departments from all places are kindly required to report the names of the enterprise exhibitors and the number of exhibition booths to Secretariat of the CISMEF Organizing Committee prior to June 30, 2008.
